have your trial the day before the wedding, the day of the rehearsal dinner (or the day of your shower? or bachelorette party?).

you are paying a inflated price for your hairstyle, and it includes a trial... use your trial..

have your hair & make-up done then celebrate! i had my trial the day before the wedding, we fooled with my hair for an hour before settling on a style and re-worked the style a few times.. then i got dressed and headed to the rehearsal.. it was so relaxing and easy i loved it.

independence weekend in maine.

tomorrow i start my master's pracitcum, j & i ran away to his family's home in maine last weekend because we're not sure when we'll be able to get time away again :(

the weather was fair all weekend so we bought the first four seasons of weeds & fell in love with the show.. and we ate a lot (don't worry i'm already back on the healthy train)

pumpkin whoopie pies & apple-rasberry pie from rocky ridge orchard seriously i can't wait to find a recipe for the pumpkin whoopie pie (with ginger icing!)

500 degree hot rock appetizer where you cook your own meat at your table @ our favorite restaurant harraseeket inn in freeport, me (home of LLBEAN!) - if you want to get married in maine, i recommend tha harraseeket.. the food is almost all local & organic & AMAZING.

i was totally going through aucti0n-withdraw. luckily a friend wanted to do some furniture shopping & i was given an excuse to go to a sunday auction. picked up a huge lot of vintage purses. i've already posted two on my etsy store & more will be popping up. we're leaving for maine tomorrow, blogging will be slow. need a good recipe, those blueberry bars i mentioned in a previous post -- AMAZING, i used strawberry preserves instead of blueberry & the taste was perfect! (i used the larger epicurious recipe!)
